Klima-Therm supports the Complex of Refrigeration and Electronics Secondary Technical Schools in Gdynia

Klima-Therm supports the Complex of Refrigeration and Electronics Secondary Technical Schools in Gdynia

One of Klima-Therm's key priorities is the dissemination of knowledge on HVACR and the advancement of young people’s ability to implement this expertise in practical terms. As part of a campaign aimed at supporting the development and education of pupils attending secondary technical schools, in November this year, Klima-Therm has donated modern equipment, tools and other educational materials to the Complex of Refrigeration and Electronics Secondary Technical Schools in Gdynia. The equipment will be used for educational purposes by pupils in refrigeration and air-conditioning school laboratories.

The representatives of Klima-Therm, Andrzej Walendowicz, Sales Director, and Paweł Deska, Deputy Technical Director, have gifted equipment with an approximate value of 20 thousand zlotys. These devices, intended for use in vocational workshops where students learn about installation of air-conditioning equipment, were officially presented to Krystyna Przyborowska, Head of the Department of Education from the Gdynia City Hall and Marian Deręgowski, Director of the Secondary Technical School Complex. The contribution included vacuum pumps, tools, hard soldering equipment and accessories, as well as installation materials for air-conditioning systems. During the meeting, the school representatives also had an opportunity to show the visitors around classrooms where electrical and electronic studies are conducted.

“We are pleased about the reintroduction of the ‘refrigeration and air-conditioning engineering technician’ profession to the classification of vocational training, which will certainly contribute to higher numbers of comprehensively and professionally educated specialists in the HVACR sector.” – explains Andrzej Walendowicz and adds: “By supporting the implementation of an educational programme, Klima-Therm Group is pleased to be able to help selected schools and equip their laboratories and technical workshops.”

For some time now, Klima-Therm Group has been involved, through various initiatives, in the development and promotion of education of adolescents and the academic community in the field of air-conditioning, heating and refrigeration. The company cooperates with higher educational institutions, gives lectures at technical universities and other facilities, organises student visits to training centres of the Klima-Therm Academy, and provides practical training and internships for future employees.
